Women’s Day Celebration 2018

As a part of International Women’s Day, Department of Science and Humanities organized Women’s Day Celebration 2018 at Sri Shanmugha College of Engineering and Technology on 10.03.2018. Mrs. Maheswari Madhavan, Motivational Speaker was the Chief Guest of the day. She highlighted the prevailing issues in the society and the ways to handle them with clever mind set. Hairdressing, Drawing, Mehandi, Jewel Making, Vegetable Cutting and Rangoli competitions were the part of the celebration. Dr. G. Kavitha, Principal welcomed the gathering. Earlier, Shri. K.Shanmugham, Chairman and Er.S. Prabahar, Vice-Chairman inaugurated the programme. The programme came to a close with an interactive session in which the students raised their queries and made clarifications

Department of Science and Humanities conducted A National Level Technical Symposium ESPERANTO at Sri Shanmugha College of Engineering and Technology on 11th April 2018. The symposium was aimed at bringing together innovative academicians in the fields of Maths, Physics, Chemistry and English in order to achieve the goal of promoting scientific knowledge among the aspirants. Dr. P. Elumalai, Associate Professor, Centre for Green Energy Technology, Pondichery University was the Chief Guest of the programme. He highlighted the important issues, which require more concentration in the fields of science and technology. Dr. G. Kavitha, Principal welcomed the gathering. Earlier, Shri. K. Shanmugham, Chairman and Er. S. Prabahar, Vice-Chairman inaugurated the programme. The symposium came to close with valedictory programme in which the certificates were distributed to the participants
