The student parliament of Sri Shanmugha Educational Institutions was started in the year

2024 with the following objectives

1. To promote Entrepreneur mindset among all the students.
2. To improve team player and leadership qualities.
3. To understand the governance.
4. To promote social responsibility among student community.
5. To provide a platform to share student’s ideas, interest and concerns.
6. To promote harmonious relations throughout the entire college.
7. To improve student/faculty relationship.
8. To provide a forum for student expression.
9. To be a member of chief guest hosting committee.
10. To plan and execute various college events like Iyarkai, inspire, sports day, tours and

12. To organize events and promote environmental cleanliness and greenery.
13. To help and mentor juniors and students in need.
14. To act as a mediator between Management, faculty and students.
