- Candidates are advised to apply in the separate prescribed application forms for UG and PG programs
Undergraduate Programs
- Application for admission shall be made in the prescribed form. The form can be obtained from the College Office or download from the given link. Separate application shall be made for each course.
- B.E/B.Tech degree course will be completed over a period of 4 years consisting of 8 semesters.
Undergraduate Programs (Lateral Entry)
- Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education or Equivalent after undergoing regular course of three years study in an approved institution are eligible for admission.
- B.E/B.Tech degree course will be completed over a period of 3 years consisting of 6 semesters.
- Application for admission shall be made in the prescribed form. The form can be obtained from the College Office or download from given link. Separate application shall be made for each course.
Submission Of Applications
- Passport Size Photos (2 Copies)
- Photocopy of the SSLC Mark sheet
- Photocopy of the +2 mark statement
- Photocopy of the TC
- Photocopy of the Community Certificate
Filled in application forms with should be submitted to the college office on or before the last date specified in the admission notification. All admissions made are subject to verification of the Mark Statements by the Director of Government Examination, and if the Mark Statement is found to be bogus, the admission is liable to be canceled, and criminal action would be taken against the concerned candidate.
Post Graduate Programmes

shall be submitted to The Principal, Sri Shanmugha College of Engineering and Technology Tiruchengode – Sankari Main Road, Pullipalayam, Morur(Po), Sankari (Tk), Salem (Dt) – 637 304.
All admissions made are subject to verification of the Mark Statements by the Director of Government Examination and if the Mark Statement is found to be bogus, the admission is liable to be cancelled and criminal action would be taken against the concerned candidate.
Certificates should be produced at the time of admission
- 10th & 12th standard mark statements (Original and Photo copies)
- Transfer Certificate (Original and Photo copy)
- Conduct Certificate from the Head of the Institution last studied (Original)
- Community Certificate (Original) if the selection is based on Community Quota (not applicable for Open Competition selection)
- NCC/NSS Certificate in the prescribed form
- 2 stamp size photos
- Eligibility certificate from the Recognized University for the Candidates who passed qualifying examination other than +2 examination of Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary / CBSE
- Degree Marks Statements (Semester wise original)
- Provision certificate from the concerned university in case of PG admission/Lateral Entry
- Diploma 5th & 6th Semester mark statements in case of Lateral Entry (Original and Photo copies)
